Description Printing proof for the cover of "The Master Detective." Color offset lithograph on white paper. Image on the paper is of a blonde woman in an orange dress and yellow scarf pressing her hands into her head. She is starring at a pistol pointed at her from the lower right corner. She is painted from the chest up. The background of the cover is red. Printed over the image at the top of the page is: "The Master Detective." "Detective" is printed in the yellow beam of light from a silver flashlight on the left edge. "Now // 15¢" is printed on a red shield beneath the flashlight. Printed in the upper right corner is a NRA logo and the month of publication. Printed on the right in white: "The Blonde // The Detectives // and "The // Rattlesnake." Printed in yellow on the bottom of the page over black: "Denver's Strangest Death Plot." Printed vertically on the left edge--the spine of the magazine--in black: "March, 1934," "The Master Detective," "15 Cents." The image is bordered by white.
