Description Color offset lithograph on white paper. Illustration for a story in McCalls magazine by John Falter. The illustration is in the lower proper right corner of the page. It shows a man in an old-fashioned military uniform with a cape, gloves and a sword kissing the hand of a blond woman in a leopard-print fur coat. The woman is also wearing a black hat, a white blouse, a black skirt and black shoes. They are in a backstage area. There is a theatre light next to them. The colors in the illustration are black, white and varying shades of blue and gray. Directly above the illustration is the title, "For all of Our Lives," in loopy blue writing. To the proper left of all of this are two columns of text of the story. At the bottom of the second column is a caption in black lettering for the illustration on the adjoining page (see 10645-2818). Above the columns is "By Ursula Parrott" in blue block lettering, "Illustrated by John Falter" in black lettering and a caption for the story in blue lettering. The proper left edge has two tears in it. "McCalls - 1938" is written on the top edge in graphite.
