Description Color offset lithograph on white paper. Poster featuring the Saturday Evening Post cover for the August 18, 1945 issue. The cover features the illustration "Office Poker Party" by John Falter. The illustration depicts four floors of a building. Each floor has five windows shown. On the first floor a poker game is visible through four windows. Yellow light illuminates a eight men sitting around a green felt table covered with red, white, and blue chips and cards. The second through third floors shown are dark with curtains hanging in the windows--purple, green and white striped, and yellow. Furniture and people are visible through the windows. To the right of the building is a darkening sky--the sun is setting--above factories, water, and a ferry moving toward the right. On the lower left corner is the artist's printed and handwritten in ink signature. At the top of the page is title of the magazine, date, and a listing of articles contained in the magazine. Printed on the bottom left edge is the date. "To John Falter" is written on the back in graphite.
