Description Color offset lithograph on white paper. Poster featuring artwork by John Falter. At the top of the poster is a ripped news headline: "Enemy Gains in Shipyard Battle! // as US worker takes extra day off". Beneath the poster are two scenes: on the left, a German Soldier is beating workers to keep them motivated, and on the right is of a US worker leaning back in a chair, playing cards and smoking a cigarette. Printed on the bottom of the poster over a red block: "Stay on the Job! // Don't Give Up the Ship!" with the word "Give" crossed out and the word "Slow" printed over the top. Manufacturing information is printed on the bottom edge.
