Collected by Eric Umland while serving in Vietnam.
Eric Umland was born in Lincoln, Nebraska and graduated from University High in 1959. He served with the US Navy from 1963 to 1967, including 19 months in Saigon, Vietnam. There, he was the Daily Intelligence Summary (Intsum) writer for Commander, US Naval Forces, Vietnam from March 1966 until October 1967.
