Description Graphite illustration on white paper depicting two boys shaking hands. The boy on the left has a white shirt and white hair and the boy on the right has a black shirt and black hair. The boys are standing among stacks of records, a radio, dress form, bird cage, and a chair with boxes stacked on it. The illustration has "p. 33" written in red ink taped to the lower edge. "33" is written on the lower right corner. The drawing is glued to a blue cardboard. On the back of the board "Illus // #10" is written in the upper left corner in graphite. "Me & Steve Macmillan Publ." is written on the bottom edge of the drawing in graphite. Written on the board on the front along the bottom edge is "50% of original size." Illustration is for Me'N'Steve.

Models for the characters were Falter's stepson Jay Wiley, and his friend Gordy Clark for "Steve."
