Description Magazine clipping from Liberty magazine pages twenty-nine and thirty published by Macfadden Publications. Color offset lithograph on white paper. The clipping is an excerpt of the story "Vengeance." Page twenty-nine features two black and white illustrations on the top left and bottom right of the page, with the title and illustrator printed on the upper right corner of the paper and a column of text is printed on the left and right edge of the page. The illustration features a woman in a dress and coat carrying two buckets. The woman is crouching on the side of a hill. The second illustration on the lower right is of the same woman walking along a fence, the wind blowing from the left. The woman is reaching forward with one hand. The title "Vengeance" is printed in black over the top middle of the page. "Illustrations by // John // Falter" is printed above the title on the right. The page number is printed on the lower right corner. Inscribed in blue ink above and below title: "1st job for Liberty // Had to do it over - 1st time, too dark." Page thirty features two columns of story text. The page number is printed on the lower left corner.
