Description Color offset lithograph on white paper. Printing proof of an illustration for Reader's Digest featuring a courtroom scene of a man, a barrister/lawyer, wearing a black robe and white wig, questioning a man in a brown suit sitting on the witness stand. Behind the barrister to the right is a woman in a grey suit and hat covering her face with her hands. Behind her are four wood benches with adult men and women seated watching the questioning. Printed on the top, sides, and bottom of the image are crosses with dots and check marks. Printed on the bottom edge is a text box titled "Reader's Digest Condensed Books." In the box are fields with black handwritten information. The fields ask for the book, page, date, and proof number.
