Description Offset lithograph on groundwood pulp paper. Black and white ad for Old Gold cigarettes. Ad features an illustration on the top half of the ad and ad copy and an Old Gold carton on the bottom half. The illustration is of a sailor in uniform with roller skates on his feet lying on the ground with a star shooting out from his body. A woman to the right of the sailor is also on roller skates and is wearing a short skirt and low top. She is bending over and offering him an Old Gold cigarette. A title, "Why Be Irritated?" is printed above the sailor's head. Printed below the illustration: "Light an Old Gold!" Below the second title/illustration is additional ad text describing Old Gold cigarettes and "Apple Honey" and how it guards against cigarette dryness. Next to the copy is a carton of Old Gold.
