Description Color offset lithograph on white paper. Magazine clipping from the Saturday Evening Post featuring an advertisement for Campbell's Soup with illustrations by John Falter on one side and text on the other. At the top of the ad is a circular picture of a woman in red serving two men soup at a dinner table. The blond man in a blue suit faces the woman and is smiling at her, placing his right hand on her wrist. The other man also faces the woman, illustrated from the back. He has brown hair and is wearing a dark grey suit. Printed beneath the illustration is a column of text describing Campbell's Soup with the heading "WIFE BEATERS". At the bottom is the logo for Campbell's. Flanking the advertisement on the left side is cartoon of a young blond girl in a pink dress and hat. Below her is the text "Shopping for Campbell's Is such fun, you know. I find it at grocers Wherever I go." On the right side of the ad are four Campbell's soup cans with descriptions of each--Vegetable, Beef, Chicken, and Noodle with Chicken. Written at the top, on the right corner in pencil: "Feb., '36". Written in blue ink to the right of the illustration: "They look // capable of just that."
