Description Oil on canvas. Painting of four half dressed men, POWs, doing hard labor while a German Soldier harrasses them. The background is dark red/purple skies with seven strands of barbed wire creating a fence. The German Soldier is in full uniform and he has his left boot on the back of one of the POWs. He is rearing up to hit one of the men with the butt of his gun. The men are lifting orange beams. The men are dirty from labor - they all look defeated. Unsigned. Framed.
