Description Saturday Evening Post cover, May 26, 1928, by Norman Rockwell featuring an old man in pants, a vest, blue shirt, and red undershirt, painting an eagle gold at the top of the flag pole. The man is sitting on a wood plank tied with a rope looped over the top of the ball. In the background is the outline of a city and tall blue clouds. The clouds obscure the title "The Saturday Evening Post." The date, volume, and price are printed at the top in red. Printed on the bottom of the page in black are names of people featured in the magazine. Adhered to the top right is an address stamp for J.W. Falter in Falls City, Nebraska.
