Description Color offset lithograph on white paper. Magazine clipping featuring an advertisement for Gulfpride motor oil. The upper portion of the ad is an illustration of a man taking notes in front of a large truck while another man looks at the engine of a different truck. The man is dressed in a gray hat and khaki trench coat. The truck behind him says 'Co. Saginaw Mich.' Below the illustration, in large black type, is 'The Case of the Saginaw Sleuth.' Under that is a section of text in three columns. At the beginning of the text there is an image of the Gulfpride motor oil can next to some text 'Case #307: a true story from the files on Gulfpride - the motor oil that gives you better, yet thriftier, lubrication.' At the end of the text is the Gulfpride logo. Written on the top edge is "Dec 1938" in graphite.
