Description Magazine clipping with two images printed on either side of the paper. One side features the print Fur Traders Descending the Missouri by George Caleb Bingham. The image features two men on a boat paddling on a river. A cat sits on the bow. A boy leans on a package. A man sits at the stern paddling the boat. All three are staring straight forward. In the background are trees and a hazy horizon. Stapled to the top right corner is a note with red ink writing: "Wasn't this called // a // pirogue?" On the reverse side features the print Stump Speaking by George Caleb Bingham. The image is of a man standing on a short stage speaking to a crowd of seated men. In the background is a tree and a barn.
