Title Sword, Spanish Military, Officer's or NCO's Side Arm

Description Hilt area cast copper alloy, pommel has floral and head designs (human face on front and on reverse, dot's head on each side.) Handle is brown wood wrapped in fine twisted brass wire. One piece quillons and ferrule of yellow copper alloy: quillons are 4" end to end and have Inca heads on ends. Center of quillons on one side are two crossed banners around a sword and shield; other side has two crossed guidons behind helmet. Blade is not edged. Some rust and corrosion near quillon.
