Description Color offset lithograph on white paper. Printing proof featuring an advertisement for Bad Ax: a development in Michigan created by Detroit Edison. At the top of the ad is 'Bad Ax:' in large black letters, followed by 'Another city in Southeastern Michigan has planned for industry' in smaller black type. Below that are two illustrations of the development, the one on the proper right is an illustration of the front of a Allegheny Ludlum Steel Co. factory, the second development, on the proper left is an illustration of the view down a main street. Below the two illustrations are two smaller ones. The one on the proper right shows a snow covered park in front of a hight school, the other, a view from a cave out to Lake Michigan. Each small image has a caption, the one on the proper right says 'painting by John Falter' The one on the proper left says 'You'll find Bad Ax progressive, proud of its thriving industries, modern schools, and superb recreational opportunities. At the bottom, on the proper right is a section of type in two columns, on the proper left is an illustrations of Michigan with the places Detroit Edison services grayed in.
