Description Newspaper clipping from the Falls City Journal featuring a cartoon by Dorman H. Smith titled "'Bout Time to Pray for a Freeze." The political cartoon features a giant pile of snow wearing a top hat labeled "Tax Reduction" and is melting under a Sun labeled "Congressional Antipathy." Beside the snow pile, two men stand watching. One man has a hat on his head labeled "Cal" and has his arms folded. The second man, bewildered with a "?" above his head, has "Tax Payer" written on his stocking cap. Written at the top of the paper in blue ink is a note from John Falter, "My biggest influence in cartooning // later knew him at Bohemian Club."
