Description Oil on canvas, stretched, by John Falter. Portrait of a man, Ronald Ramsey, in a blue suit, green tie, and white shirt seated in a multi-colored armchair. The chair is turned to the left; the man is facing left but is turned slighlty to the right for a 3/4 profile from the waist up. Behind Ramsey is a short wall and curtain on the right edge. Through the window a view of the Missouri river and the hills rising on either side of it covered in green vegetation. The canvas is stapled to a wood stretcher and is not signed.

History Portrait of Ronald Ramsay of Atchinson, Kansas. He (John Falter) was not satisfied with this and did another in same pose. Hangs in hospital in Atchison I (Mrs. J. Falter) believe.
