Description Charcoal and tempera on brown paper. Charcoal used to outline and detail the figure, tempera used to shade and color the figure. Centered on the page is the painting of an adult male facing right. Image features detailed head and outlined shoulders and arms. Male has purple/yellow hair, glasses, a green button-up shirt and white jacket on. The male is holding and blowing into the mouthpiece of a partially depicted instrument--possibly a trumpet. Captioned in the lower right corner in cursive: "Kai Winding". Engraved on the left edge from top to bottom is the paper manufacturer's name.
