Description Color offset lithograph on white paper featuring a painting by John Falter, "The Giant Killer," depicting a soldier firing his gun at a tank rolling toward him. The soldier's rounds are ricocheting off the tank. The tank is firing and the round is flying over the top of the soldier. The soldier and tank are back; the sky is black with smoke clouds rolling through the sky. The tank is rolling down a hill. The remains of a jeep lies below the top of the hill. The painting is framed by a grey border. Printed along the bottom is black text: "Esquire, Inc., 1944" below the left corner, "The Keeper of the Faith by John Falter" beneath the middle, and "Printed Especially For Esquire" below the right corner. On the back of the paper is a blonde Vargas girl in a pink/white wedding negligee, veil, and pink high heeled shoes. Her negligee, veil, and shoes are adorned with white flowers. The woman is sitting with one leg bent below her. The woman's body is facing left but her head is turned toward the right. Printed on the lower right corner is a poem by Phil Stack titled "Matrimony Preferred." Credit to A. Varga and Phil Stack is made below the poem. "The Varga Girl" is printed on the top left corner.
