|Title||Drawing; John Falter; Graphite, Tempera; Harry Edison|
Graphite and tempera drawing on tan paper. Drawing of an adult male's head with curly black hair and light mustache, and neck with a wide white collar. White tempera paint used to highlight features--shine on forehead, cheeks, and mouth, and shirt collar. Drawing has a faint yellow background. Written on the back of the paper at the top in pen, "Harry Edison", and at the bottom in pencil "-42".
The drawing was originally matted in a white mat with a masking tape hinge and black mat window. Taped to the back of the mat is a photo of Falter's Harry Edison drawing. Below the photograph is a sticker, and an index card biographical text on Edison typed in black. Stamped at the top of the back in blue ink is Falter's name and address.
