History Mock-up of Mordy Mouse puppet used on the television program F.C.O. (For Children Only) which aired from 1966-1986 on channel 10/11 (KOLN/KGIN) in Lincoln.

The show was hosted by Rev. Dale Holt and aired on Sunday mornings. Dale was ordained in the Lutheran Church of America, and joined the staff at 10/11 in 1966 as religion director. He later lead the public affairs department. He also co-hosted "10/11 Sunday" and "Etc. 10/11 Magazine." F.C.O. showed popular cartoons as well as the faith based claymation series "Davey and Goliath." Dale would also read illustrated Bible stories and show drawings submitted by viewers. Mordy would comment on the drawings or story.

Mordy was created and constructed by Dale and puppeteered by 10/11 staff members Donna Blakely, Linda Phipps, Diane Elrick and Cindy Wanek.

After "For Children Only" ended in 1986, Dale retired from 10/11 and served as chaplain at Tabitha Nursing Home in Lincoln. He also served as pastor of Grace Luthern Church in Walton. He passed away in 2002 at the age of 71.
