Description Ink, watercolor, charcoal and chalk illustration on Bainbridge Illustration board. Treasure Island illustration of a pirate wearing a coat, green striped shirt, belt, pants, tri-corner hat carrying a bloody sword and standing in a doorway to a building. The building has upturned furniture--a table is lying on the side on the left, tankards are lying on the ground. Beneath a window on the right is another upturned table and chair. A lantern hangs next to the door. Through the window a man is visible running away. Ink drawing with watercolor coloring, and charcoal shading. The walls are painted red, the furniture is brown, clothing is dark blue, tankards are blue, and the background outside the building is green. On the back of the board is the manufacturer's seal, and a sticker titled "Title-Entry Card" with information about the use of the illustration for the book Treasure Island for Macmillan Company.
