Event Nebraska's Big Rodeo
History Nebraska's Big Rodeo has been held in Burwell, Nebraska since 1921, when Homer C. Stokes hosted the towns first-ever rodeo.

This object was collected by Clyde Raymond Ilgenfritz. Clyde was the Burwell Rodeo Assistant Arena Director from 1927 to 1930. He was the head of registering and paying off contestants for the rodeo from 1927 to 1961.
