Description Oil on canvas. Green tinted painting featuring three men's faces, two microscopes, and beakers floating above an operating room. In the operating room a surgery is taking place. On the left a nurse in a white apron, gloves, mask, and hat is selecting instruments from an instrument table with a number of instruments lined up. At the end of the table is a stool. Seven other figures in white aprons, gloves, masks, and hats are standing around the operating table. One figure is seated by the patient's head monitor the anesthesia. To the left and right of the table are stools with pans on the top. An overhead lamp is focused on the team of seven doctors and nurses working. The painting was used as an illustration for a short story in a magazine.
