Description Ink on cardboard. Drawing of two Colonial era scenes. On the top left is a pen and ink drawing of a woman holding a child at the base of some stairs. A boy wearing a black coat and breeches is standing next to the stairs in front of the stair door with a foot on the first stair. Another boy is peeking out by the door jam standing on the stairs. Scale crosses and circles are placed on the top, left side, and bottom of the drawing. On the bottom right is a pen and ink drawing of two men placing a metal box in a hearth. The two men are wearing shirts and breeches. The drawing is signed by the artist "JF" on the lower right. Scale crosses and circles are placed on the top, right side, and bottom of the drawing. Graphite notes are written along the bottom edge of the drawing: "Daugherty" on the left, "Reduce to 63% of original" on the middle, and "21" on the right. A brown sheet of paper is taped to the back top edge overlying the drawings.
