Object Name Proof, Printing
Description Color offset lithograph on white paper. Printing proof of the cover for Liberty Magazine. The cover is white featuring an illustration of a man in a brown suit with flour hand prints on his shoulders and lipstick on his cheek and collar baking with a brunette woman in a black dress, white apron, and white hat. The woman's hair is disheveled. She is working a rolling pin on a brown mix. The man is holding a bowl for milk and is pouring a bottle of milk on the floor instead. The two are startled as an older woman in a pink dress and hat is standing in the kitchen doorway. The man's head is turned toward her, and the maid is looking straight ahead. Above the image is black and pink text: "Liberty 5¢ // Printed in Canada." Beneath the title on the right is a black maple leaf. Beneath the title on the left is an NRA logo with a black eagle. On the bottom left is black ink handwriting with a note from John Falter.
